Passionate web designer looking for a position at a small design firm. Limited time offer only, quantities limited, act today before its too late!

For Hire

Freelancing has been very good to me. There's no doubt I've enjoyed running a business full time, wearing the different hats and structuring my own time. But over this last year my passion for web design has grown ever greater, and I'm ready to wear the programming hat fulltime (sorry accounting hat!).

So I'm on the market, and looking to join a small design firm who shares a similar passion for quality web design. I bring a lot of skills to the table, and am always looking to learn from fellow designers. While working on projects, I thrive under pressure and high expectations. I'm very driven, and work incredibly hard to rise to every occasion. And if a problem arises - whether its a design, support problem, or question - I don't quit until its solved.

Best of all I work with a smile, a sense of humor, and a genuine love for web design. And I'll openly admit that I prefer the termonology passionate about web design, simply because has a childlike fascination doesn't sound nearly as professional.

I'm ready to step into a lot of different roles, though the ideal position would allow me to really spread my PHP wings. I have a bad habit of being a big dreamer, and a nastier habit of building the back-end until its a tangible reality - how many people do you know that lose sleep in the excitement over tomorrow's PHP code?

I'm experienced and well read in a wide field of skills: information architecture, layout design, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, front-end coding, back-end coding, pre-built Content Mangement systems, custom built CMS systems and beyond. And if you'd like to learn more details about my skillset, check out the Related Links on the right.

You can reach me via email, chris{at}chrislaskeydesign{dot}com, or on the phone at +1.603.498.9455. I would love to meet in person, and if you're available lunch is on me.

Resumes are nice, but a web designer's chops lay in the code. Depending on the position you're hiring for the work displayed in my portfolio may be enough. But in some cases, particularly if you're interested in my back-end coding skills (which I hope you are!), you'll want to see more.

Accordingly, I've set up a restricted area for design firms looking to evaluate my work. Within you'll be able to find works not featured in my portfolio, as well as easy to download zips. Additionally, if you've requested code samples, they can be found here. Enough talk, on to the code!
